Practicing hand mudras may have a beneficial effect on your physical health and emotional well-being.

You can use mudras for immediate results. To help resolve conditions that developed over time, you may need to practice for several weeks.

Mudra practice

  • A quiet place is ideal.
  • Place your hands and fingers as shown. Relax and press the fingers lightly together.
  • Hold the mudra with both hands.
  • Breathe calmly and slowly.
  • You may practice while seated, lying down, or walking.
  • Use as needed for results, or practice for the suggested time.
